Your family's data is yours. Here's exactly how we treat it.

To provide YouthShield we collect: your name and email, the names/ages of children you add, the devices you pair, the rules and curfews you set, and the wellbeing reports those activities generate.
If you contact support we keep your messages so we can help. If you pay for a subscription we store the minimum billing identifiers — never your full card number.
We use your data only to: run the YouthShield service, calculate your Family Health Score™, deliver notifications you've opted into, keep your account secure, and improve the product in aggregate.
We never use child profile data for advertising, profiling for third parties, or training third-party AI models.
Every record in YouthShield is tied to a family. Only members of your family — co-parents you invite — can access it. This is enforced at the database level with row-level security.
We use trusted infrastructure providers to host data and deliver email. They process data only on our behalf, under contract, and only to the extent needed to run the service.
We will only share data when legally required to do so, and we'll tell you when we can.
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, restrict its use, or delete it entirely. Email privacy@youthshield.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Child profiles are created and managed by parents or guardians. Children do not log in to YouthShield directly. We treat all child profile data as sensitive and apply the strictest possible access controls.
